Civics

The first amendment says that congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or to the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grvances. What this means in common mans terms is that congress can't make a law to having one main religion. It also states that we have the freedom of speech which means that we can criticize the government without the fear of punishment.

Some responcibilites of a citizens is to vote when ever possible, you are able to vote at the age of 18. Another responsibility of citizens is to defend our country in the time of war. Yet the most important responsibility is to take care of their family.
